Day 22 – Tuesday May 15th
A – Today's reading of the day is James Chapter 2 (New American Standard (NAS) for me.)
Focal verses today are James 2:19 "You believe that God is one, you do well; the demons also believe, and shudder."
B – RHEMA Strike Verse of the day: 2 Samuel 10:12 "Be strong, and let us show ourselves courageous for the sake of our people and for the cities of our God, and may the LORD do what is good in His sight." (Courage/Purple)
C – Excerpt from "Wild at Heart" by John Eldridge:
"In the past year or so I've made a number of decisions that make no sense unless there is a God and I am his friend."
D – Today's input: I'm sure each one of you know there is a God. Can each of you say to yourself "I know God"? Can you say that God is your friend? Better yet can you say that you are God friend? I hope each of you take the time today to discover inside yourself what if really means to know God and know that he is your friend.
E – Today's prayer focus: Pray that you will draw close to God so that he may draw close to you. Sound familiar?
F – Encouragement and closing thoughts: Spend time with God today (and every day). Share him with others in your family, friendships, work, play, and with anyone that passes your way.
