Day 21 – Monday May 14th
A – Today's reading of the day is James Chapter 1 (New American Standard (NAS) for me.)
Focal verses today are James 1:2-3 "Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance."
Review of the day: Verse 4 "And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." Verse 16 "Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren." Verse 17 "Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow."
B – RHEMA Strike Verse of the day: 2 Samuel 10:12 "Be strong, and let us show ourselves courageous for the sake of our people and for the cities of our God, and may the LORD do what is good in His sight." (Courage/Purple)
C – Excerpt from "Wild at Heart" by John Eldridge:
"This deep intimate union with Jesus and with his Father is the source of all our healing and all our strength."
D – Today's input: Bear down, dig in, now is not the time to be slack or give up.
E – Today's prayer focus: Ask God to give you the ability to see things as He sees things, to see people as He sees people, and to see yourself as He sees you.
